Managerial Reporting

We provide a monthly strategy report which details key performance metrics, outlines our strategy, tasks performed by Goat Consulting, and action steps for the next month the strategic report presents a simple executive summary to see at a snapshot the performance of the Amazon account. This helps paint a clear picture of the account health and informs stakeholders of key information.

When you access the report through Google Data Studio, you can adjust the time period which is reported in the tables, charts, and graphs. You can also adjust how the tables are sorted. Filters can also be applied to gain ASIN/SKU level insights.


Vendor Central Reporting

Goat Consulting Vendor Reporting is designed to provide at a glance actionable insights about Amazon Purchase Order and Consumer Purchase behaviors to our clients. 

Definitions for the separate pages of Vendor Central Reporting can be found below 

Page 1: Executive Summary 

This page contains a numbered list of strategic and operational comments for the month. At the bottom of the page, there is a dashboard that reports the Shipped Cost of Good, Shipped Units by Amazon, Sellable Units at Amazon and Total Purchase Order Amount, compared to the previous period. The executive summary is updated on a monthly basis. 

Page 2: Shipped Products by Month

This page reports the number of units shipped to consumers in a given month or time frame. The table at the top of the page shows the Shipped Cost of Goods Sold in both dollars and units for a given monthly period. Click any of the headers in the table to sort by that metric. The graph at the bottom of the tables tracks Shipped COGS overtime. You can hover over any point in the graph to see period-specific information. The reported period can be adjusted to any custom period that we have data for by clicking the date range in the upper left-hand corner of the page. You can also use the ASIN filter in the upper right hand to view COGS information on an SKU level.   

Page 3: Sales Diagnostic by ASIN 

This page reports the monthly Cost of Goods Sold on an ASIN/SKU level. The table at the top of the page reports COGS with product sales and units ordered. Below the table, there is a heat map that provides an "at a glance" view of how sales compared ASIN to ASIN. The table at the top can be sorted by Product Sales or Units Ordered. You can hover over the blocks in the heat map to see the full product title and the revenue amount. The reported period can be adjusted to any custom period that we have data for by clicking the date range in the upper left-hand corner of the page. 

Page 4: Purchase Orders 

This page reports Purchase Orders by month. The table at the top of the page reports the total cost and the total cases of purchase orders for each month. Below the table, there is a graph that displays purchase order total cost over time. You can click on the headers of the table at the top of the page to sort by period, total cost or total cases. You can hover over any point in the graph at the bottom of the page to see period-specific information. The reported period can be adjusted to any custom period that we have data for by clicking the date range in the upper left-hand corner of the page. 

Page 5: Inventory Health 

This page reports Inventory Health KPI by SKU for the current period. The table at the top of the page lists ASIN, Product Titles, Sellable Units at Amazon and Sellable Unit Value for the period. The heat chart at the bottom of the page shows how inventory levels are distributed across SKUs. The darker and larger the block in the heat chart the more heavily the item is currently stocked. You can click on the headers of the table at the top of the page to sort by ASIN, Sellable Units or Sellable Unit Value. Hovering over a block in the heat chart will allow you to see SKU specific inventory levels. 

Page 6: Amazon Advertising by Month 

This page reports advertising and marketing performance for the specified period. The table at the top of the page reports sales, impressions, average ACoS and Conversion Rate by month. The table at the bottom left of the page tracks average ACoS for the reported period. The table at the bottom right of the table tracks impressions and clicks for the reported period. You can click on the header of the table at the top of the page to sort by any of the provided metrics. In the table on the left of the page, you can hover over any points in the graph to get period-specific data. The same hover interaction can be done on the chart in the lower right. The reported period can be adjusted to any custom period that we have data for by clicking the date range in the upper left-hand corner of the page. 

Page 7: Task Summary 

This page covers tasks performed by Goat Consulting in the current reporting period and upcoming tasks for the next period. The Task Summary is updated on a monthly basis.

Page 2: Ordered Product Sales by Month 

This page reports monthly revenue by total revenue, b2b revenue, units ordered and page views (product visibility). The chart at the bottom of the page shows ordered product sales over time. You can hover over any point in the graph to see period-specific data. You can click on the headers of the table at the top of the page to sort by any of the reported metrics. The reported period can be adjusted to any custom period that we have data for by clicking the date range in the upper left-hand corner of the page. 

Page 3: Ordered Product Sales by Month 

This page reports monthly ordered product sales on an ASIN/SKU level. The table at the top of the page reports ordered product sales with product sales and units ordered. Below the table, there is a heat map that provides an "at a glance" view of how sales compared ASIN to ASIN. The table at the top can be sorted by Product Sales or Units Ordered. Page 4: Ordered Product Sales by Date 

This page reports ordered product sales on a daily interval as well as geographic sales data information. The chart at the top of the page reports daily sales with one line and an average of the daily sales with the other. The heat map in the lower-left corner of the page shows sales by states for the reported time period. The darker the state, the more units sold. The table at the bottom right of the page, reports daily sales performance by product sales, units ordered and sessions. This table allows you to identify days with exceptionally great or poor performance during the reported period. Hovering over the table at the top of the page will allow you to see daily sales for specific days reported in the chart. Hovering over a state in the heat map will allow you to see units sold in that state during the reported period. Clicking on the headers in the table in the lower right of the page will allow you to sort the table by daily product sales, units ordered or sessions. The reported period can be adjusted to any custom period that we have data for by clicking the date range in the upper left-hand corner of the page. 

Page 5: Amazon Advertising by Month
