Full-Time or Part-Time Hourly - Paid Non-Exempt Internship - Remote Job

We are looking for an Account Manager Intern who wants to support Account Managers in accomplishing goals for selling on Amazon for our clients. If you love working with people and want to help businesses grow sales on Amazon then you have come to the right place. This is an entry level internship designed students that want to see if working for a small business is right for them. You are able to apply marketing, finance, operations, information technology, and retail skills learned in your major and classwork applied in real life scenarios. Former Account Manager Interns are now current Account Managers.

You are empathetic. For a lot of our clients, the Amazon sales channel is new to them, which requires you to listen to their needs, goals, and questions in order to help them.

Details matter to you. The words we choose to include in our product listings and keywords included in Amazon Advertising can drastically affect the traffic and conversion rate and ultimately the success of product sales on Amazon. 

Solving problems motivates you. Clients come to Goat Consulting because they have problems that we can solve. Clients may have issues listing products, navigating seller central, effectively running marketing campaigns, managing communications with Amazon, or understanding the ecommerce landscape. You are motivated by identifying these issues and tackling them head on to drive sales and helping clients fulfill their mission.

You are resilient. Online marketplaces, especially selling on Amazon, is an ever changing landscape. With these changes come technical challenges. You have a can-do attitude in researching and resolving issues that arise.

You are adaptable. You have the ability to work effectively by yourself as well as with others, whether that is with co-workers or clients.

Things You Might Do

Goat Consulting is a startup, so you will likely work on a lot of different projects that provide value to our clients. That said, here are some things you will support with:

  • Support Account Managers with completing tasks for selling on Amazon

  • Develop, support and promote Goat Consulting goals

  • Develop client catalog that fulfills requirements for selling on Amazon

  • Generate a list of search terms and keywords that customers might search to find and purchase client’s products 

  • Write effective marketing copy for client’s product listings

  • Optimize Amazon Advertising to meet client goals

  • Interact with Amazon through casework management

  • Improve Goat Consulting processes for selling on Amazon

  • Communicate project status to Goat Consulting team and clients

  • Pull, analyze, measure and report to Goat Consulting team and client on Amazon sales channel performance
